Local writer and good friend to many in the Lake Tahoe community, Robert Frolich, AKA Fro, has been diagnosed with, and is fighting, cancer. On Sunday October 19th 2008 please show your support by attending "In the Mood, Friends of Fro" fundraiser. The event will take place at Alpine Meadows from 4:30 to 9:30pm. Help spread the word and get 'in the mood' with an amazing evening of food and audio/visual entertainment to support our good friend Fro.Look forward to: Dinner by a selection of Tahoe's finest restaurants including; Christy Hill, Wolfdales, Grahams, River Ranch, River Grill, Garwoods, Treats by Melanie Jackson, Tahoe House, Moody's Bistro, Mamasake, Jakes on the Lake, Dragonfly, Plumpjacks, Granlibakken, Blue Coyote, Sunnyside and more;. Music will include an all-star lineup of Tahoe's Favorite musicians; a multimedia show by Tahoe's renowned cameramen including Tom Day, Hank DeVre, Court Leve, Dave Norad, Scott Gaffney, Steven Siig and Keoki Flagg; Silent Auction and Raffle, featuring incredible prizes from our community and abroad including great trips, vacation rentals, dining, cool gear and full season passes from our favorite ski areas.
