Truckee Kidzone Museum offers new exhibit, "Texas Hold 'Em" Night

The Truckee Kidzone Museum, located in the tent building next to Truckee High School, has it's doors closed this week while it readies itself for a new exhibit, called "into Africa". With all the support, donations, and talented artists our town offers, I'm sure the exhibit will be just as impressive as past exhibits. The museum will reopen on April 29th, and following quickly next month will be the museum's largest annual fundraiser, "Texas Hold 'Em" at the Olympic Village Inn (OVI) in Squaw Valley on Saturday, May 31. This event is very popular, so call up a friend, pull those chaps out of hiding, and get your bull-riding skills in order...and new this year, mechanical calf ropping! You don't want to miss it!
